OUR STORY

The Arc Project was founded in 2019 by up-and-coming composer, Jake Adams, as a collaborative initiative to encourage the creation of new music.

The project aims to establish a new creative platform based in the North of England for composers and performers with a particular focus on collaborative and shared composition processes. 

The first project was launched in June 2019, with the first performance taking place in October of the same year. This project featured 10 randomly paired composers and performers who each created a new work to be premiered in a concert.
